The Mustache That Walks Like A Man...is a non-fiction, first person memoir that, as he puts it, "relates some of the thoughts, feelings, and experiences of a man, who as a young boy grew up in rural Vermont. A boy who became a country doctor, then a combat surgeon." The book carries the reader through the rice paddies and hillsides of Korea, when sometimes the only relief from the searing heat or bone-chilling cold were the stories he'd tell his corpsmen about growing up and practicing medicine in the Green Mountain state.
