Claude G. Dern spent much of the 1950's exposed to the everyday activities of the once-typical hill farms and adjacent woodlands of Dorset, Vermont. Today as a landowner, logger, and land surveyor, he still marvels at the myriad of untold secrets hidden in the rural landscape of Bennington County.
